What year did Arney start doing the defense? He was a great guy but he was ignorant when it came to defense. Dewayne has done an excellent job since he's been here. Haysi been to 2 Region D title games since Stanley started so thats pretty good.

It looks like im trying to say arney was the greatest D coordinator ever and im not but he wasnt bad I think he made better decisions on who to play where and as far as our success since dewayne took over I would say dewayne has had more to work with

Arnie had no business being involved in Haysi coaching...have no idea what Colley was thinking on that one. He wasn't a bad guy but what makes anyone think he was a good coach? I don't think he was even employed in Dickenson County Schools was he? Were we so bad off that we had to just find people off the street to coach?

Now fellas you may call me crazy and some of you may agree I believe that Larry Compton was probably the best D cordinator in hhs history

why would you say that larry was the best defense coach Blue eyed devil...did you play under larry? and since you didn't how would you even know

the way I hear it a lot of coaches success back in the day was due to larry I dont know just passing on what I hear

you know your right you always gotta play under a coach to know if they are good or not i mean that wouldnt make your veiws one sided at all. I never played but i watched and thats all i hear from my family and alot of them played for him.But if you would love to share your vast knowladge disputing the point, but then again why ask for something thats never happened you will just make a personal attack on me to sheild the fact that you really dont know jack and make everyone that reads the board a little dumber just by reading it till then i found somethin that reminds me of you.
